USGBC Wisconsin is excited to announce its 2016 Market Leadership Advisory Board (MLAB) members. This shift from a board of directors to a local market advisory board is the final component of the integration process associated with transitioning the organization from the formally known Wisconsin Green Building Alliance to USGBC Wisconsin. 

The new Market Leadership Advisory Board members serve as the primary volunteer leadership voice for USGBC in Wisconsin. The MLAB represents a diverse group of locally based leaders who advise on strategic and tactical activities implemented as part of USGBC's global work plan. This leadership group contributes to the global success of the USGBC community by working collaboratively within a larger network in order to develop and implement integrative, consistent, and effective local work plans in all strategic markets. 

USGBC Wisconsin's membership elected the following individuals to serve as directors, effective Jan. 1, 2016: 

  • Amanda Goetsch, Sustainability Manager, Inpro 
  • Dan Beyer, Owner, Dan Beyer Architects 
  • Doug Pearson, Executive Director of Facilities Planning and Management, University of Wisconsin—La Crosse 
  • Frank Falsetti, Sustainable Business Development, Hunzinger Construction 
  • Gerrit Reinders, Executive Vice President—Global Sales & Marketing, Telkonet, Inc. 
  • Jacqueline Ward, Executive Director at Fondy North Economic Development Corporation 
  • Kelsey Holtz, Interior Designer and Showroom Coordinator, The Green Design Center 
  • Rex Loker, Retired, State of Wisconsin Dept. of Facilities Development 
  • Melissa Vernon, Sustainability Consultant 
  • Nick Mueller, Senior Project Manager Hospitality, Kohler Co. 
  • Rick Gabriel, Sr. Project Architect, BWBR Architects 
  • Rob Zimmerman, Sr. Channel Manager—Sustainability, Kohler Co. 
  • Sherrie Gruder, UW-Extension 
  • Sonja Rechertz, City Planner & Assistant Economic Development Director, City of Monona 
  • Ted Poull, Southeast Wisconsin Carpenter's Training Center
